Cards with matching box for calligraphy

Met 3 gelliprints maakte ik een doosje en een aantal kaartjes in verschillende groottes voor een lieve dame die altijd klaarstaat met een helpende hand.

Wij volgen samen kalligrafieles en het is de bedoeling dat ze er zelf de tekst op schrijft.

Een lintje rond het doosje zorgde voor de afwerking.

With 3 gelliprints I made a box and several matching cards in different sizes for a sweet lady who is always there when you need help.

We take calligraphy classes together and I made them so she can write the sentiment herself.

A ribbon around the box was the finishing touch.

Liefs

Vandaag eens een eenvoudig kaartje in het blauw, een kleur die ik zeer weinig gebruik.

Today a simple card made in blue, a color that I hardly ever use.

De bloemen heb ik met inkt gestempeld en daarna met een wit potlood wat accentjes aangebracht.

Dan een lijntje gerild met mijn Scor Pal

Als laatste een cirkel uitgeponst en daarin liefs gestempeld

I stamped de flowers and made some white accents with a white pencil.

I scored a line with my Scor Pal

I punched a cirkle and stamped the sentiment.

Er is binnenin genoeg ruimte om iets liefs in te schrijven.

There is enough space inside to write something nice.

Stampotique - Perfect Imperfections - Art Journal

Lief, schattig, perfect ..... zo kan je de Stampotique Odd Characters absoluut niet noemen, maar toch vallen ze onder mijn favoriete stempels omdat ik ze net door hun imperfectie heel mooi vind.

En het imperfecte van Art Journaling past daar natuurlijk perfect bij!! ;-))

Sweet, cute, perfect ..... you can't say that about the Stampotique Odd Characters.

But I love them, and they are one of my favorite stamps because of their imperfection.

 Voor deze pagina's gebruikte ik acrylverven, stencils, houtskool, Copic markers en volgende stempels:

For this card I used Lyra Watercolor crayons, Hero Arts Starburst-Lace stamp and Donna Downey Hollyhocks flowerstamp.
The beautiful sentiment is a stamp from the Dutch sentimentstampcollection from Lut.

65 jaar getrouwd! - 65 years of marriage!

Op aanvraag van mijn schoonmoeder maakte ik een kaartje voor

een paar dat al 65 jaar getrouwd is.

En dat blijkt briljant te zijn dus wou ik er een "briljant" in verwerken als blikvanger.

In het bijpassend doosje heb ik een venstertje gemaakt zodat je meteen het blikvangertje ziet.

De achtergrond heb ik gemaakt met Gesso, Absorbent ground, een embossingfolder en Pébéo  iridescent acryl verf.

Ik heb hier geen label of tekst aangebracht om het briljantje voor zich te laten spreken.
De boodschap zelf staat binnenin.

My mother in law asked me if I wanted to make a card for a couple who has been married

for 65 years.

Here 65 years of marriage stands for brilliant so I wanted to use a "brilliant" as an eyecatcher.

I made a window in the matching box so you can see the eyecatcher immediately.

For the background I used Gesso, Absorbent ground, an embossing folder and Pébéo Acrylic iridescent paint.

I didn't use a sentiment here because I wanted to let the brilliant speak for itself.

The sentiment is inside.

Books 2# : Gekruiste structuurbinding basis / Crossed structure binding

Eerst en vooral een hartelijk welkom en dankjewel aan Astrid mijn nieuwste volgster!

Ik hoop dat mijn creaties je mogen inspireren!!

Heb terug een workshop bij An Taveirne gevolgd.

Dit is mijn tweede proefstuk wat het boekbinden betreft.

Ook deze binding is heel leuk om te doen en hierin kan je een variatie aan kleuren, vormen en materialen verwerken.

Niettegensstaande ik hier weeral gekozen heb voor het zwart/rode!

Zou ik enige voorkeur hebben??????

Ik noem het mijn modern kasteelboekje door de lederen "kasteeltorentjes" en de plexi cover.

Het heeft al een bestemming voor, maar die verklap ik nog niet...

This binding is also very fun to do and you can use a variety of colors, layouts and materials.

Although I chose "again" for black and red!

Could I have by any chance have a preference?????

I call it my modern castle book for its leather "castle towers" and plexi cover.

It already has a destination, but I won't tell you yet...

Deze verjaardagskaart vond ik onlangs terug in een doos waarin ik mijn kaarten bewaar die klaar zijn om te verzenden.

Voor de achtergrond heb ik mijn Spin & Splash uitgehaald.

Dit is echt een leuk speelgoedje!!

Na een time-out wat het bloggen betreft,
ben ik er even weer om jullie een jaar vol geluk, een goede gezondheid,
veel liefde en vriendschap, weinig om niet te zeggen geen zorgen
met erbovenop nog een massa aan creativiteit en inspiratie en dan natuurlijk nog een pak vrije tijd te wensen!!

Ook wil ik iedereen van harte bedanken voor het bezoeken van mijn blog

Mijn kaartje voor vandaag is geen kerstkaartje, want ik ben inmiddels wel aan iets anders toe...

Het is een zwart/wit Zentangle kaart.

Gelli plate envelopje - envelope

Ik had een gelliprint die ik nogal tegengevallen vond.

Maar ik heb het nogal moeilijk met dingen richting vuilnismand te verwijzen dus ponste ik er toch 4 cirkels uit en maakte ik er dit envelopje (7.5cm x7.5cm) van. 

- I had a gelli print that I didn't like very much.

But I always find it hard to throw things away so I punched out 4 circles and made
this little envelope (7.5cm x 7.5cm)

Eigenlijk ben ik blij die print te hebben bewaard, want op deze manier verwerkt vind ik die best leuk en komen de kleurtjes veel mooier uit.

Welk labeltje eraan komt, hangt af van de bestemming.

- Now I'm glad I saved this print, 'cause used like this, I like it!

I'll make a little tag when I know its destination.
